Over the course of nearly 4 years, Olivia and her Talent Management team overhauled TMA's training and education catalog to offer a wealth of options — both in-person and virtually.
Although she prefers to facilitate classes in person, Olivia values virtual and online training based on every employee's circumstances and needs. She learned how to Zoom and Microsoft Teams 'like a pro', becoming a stellar virtual trainer and meeting producer. She also advocated to offer all 500+ employees access to Linked Learning, an online learning platform.

Many times, mid-level and newly promoted managers jump into a people-management role without any formal leadership training. That's why Olivia's team partnered with Unstuck Minds to create Leadership That Matters: Player-Coach — a year-long program broken into quarterly workshops, pairing participants with an accountability partner, mixed with on-demand learning.

Olivia contributed to the company's culture in a number of ways:
Revamped TMA's new hire orientation
Created meaningful employee experiences — like hosting a dumpling making class to celebrate Chinese New Year, donating to the local food bank and cycling for a charity
Produced videos and volunteered on behalf of the agency

Olivia introduced a variety of DE&I programs to help TMA's people develop awareness of their unconscious biases, interact with greater emotional intelligence, and much more. The first program she created was the Unconscious Bias workshop based on curriculum from FranklinCovey. She enlisted two senior leaders to get certified with her and co-facilitate the course together. They customized the content, flow and timing to fit the needs of their colleagues' daily challenges.
One TMAer said about the program, "One of the best courses I ever took in my professional career was for Unconscious Bias. Olivia [and team] properly provided the right types of examples and very clear explanations and exercises that were great learning tools for myself and the others in the course."

Every month, TMI hosts an all agency meeting called TMI With TMA. Olivia had the privilege of hosting the February 2022 meeting, highlighting great accomplishments, upcoming events and important company updates.
Olivia created a video presentation on How to Create Meaningful Connections using Empathy, Curiosity, and Courage.

One of Olivia's favorite 'fun' projects was producing and co-hosting the TMA Pet Parade. A much needed break from the stress of work and life during the Pandemic. Nothing seems to cheer us up more than sharing our love for our furry friends!
Part of TMA's mission is to build an ever more diverse and inclusive workplace, guided by equity. One of the ways Olivia helped foster this vision is by actively participating in their DE&I Initiative, Discover_TMA. To celebrate Pride Month in 2021, Olivia and her colleagues crafted a Digital Drag Showcase to highlight the LGBTQ+ community in all of TMA's local offices.
The following year, she and the team created a Digital Pride Trivia event -- also a total hit!
